About the show
Mercato Be Tirita is a radio show and podcast that airs
on Tirta 97.6 FM 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday
and Friday). Using an entertaining, conversational and
narrative approach, Mercato Be Tirita’s main focus will
be on explaining business and economic issues with na-
tional, regional and global content. The duration of the
show will be about one hour. Mercato Be Tirita will
have narratives explaining economic issues such as
macroeconomics, ďŹnancial services and the like that
aďŹect the daily lives of Addis Ababa residents. Inter-
viewees range from academics to business profession-
als. The show will be hosted by Asrat Seyoum and
Amanuel Kindeya.
